About Me
I grew up in Northern Virginia with three younger siblings and anywhere from one to four dogs running around the house. In elementary school, a friend introduced me to gymnastics, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. I was a competitive gymnast until graduating from high school in 2014 and often credit gymnastics for instilling lifelong values, like a strong work ethic and dedication. It’s also something I shared with my two younger sisters, and we’re all still big fans of the sport.
I had the privilege of attending Elon University in North Carolina, where I graduated in May 2018 with a major in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Psychology and Leadership Studies. During my time at Elon, I was a reporter and producer for Elon’s award-winning student media program, Elon News Network.
The beach is my favorite place, and I loved living close to it while working in Charleston, SC, and Norfolk, VA. While I miss the beach, I’m happy to be closer to home and working in the nation’s capital—something I aspired to since discovering my passion for storytelling in college.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, watching NCAA Gymnastics (go Gators!), or taking naps.
